(Kelly I love your characters forever, did you know?) I have to say that, despite it being just an experiment at first, I like it way more than the Yon one x'D guess I'm getting the hang of watercolours, right? or at least I'm feeling more comfortable with them. Yup, that's it. Awesome!
Oh, and the background is red ink
there's no way I could've gotten such an even surface painting with watercolours!

Everything about this rocks. I love the gouache background, and the reverse colour via string effect.
